HUNTSVILLE, Texas – August 15, 2026 – Lee Baron brought the Huntsville community together Sunday for Backpack the Block 2026, an adidas-powered community event that provided local students with 1,000 free adidas backpacks filled with school supplies ahead of the new school year.

Held at 1524 11th Street in Huntsville, the event gave students and families an opportunity to come together for an evening of free food, family activities, entertainment and community connection.

Organized by Lee Baron, Backpack the Block was created to help local students start the school year prepared, confident and ready to succeed. With adidas powering the initiative, the event combined a practical school-supply giveaway with a family-focused community celebration.

“Backpack the Block is about showing up for our community and investing in our students,” said AJ, the owner of Lee Baron. “We wanted to create an experience where families could come together, have a great time and make sure our students had some of the tools they need to start the school year strong. Throughout the event, families enjoyed several free experiences, including:

• Live DJ entertainment from Thomas the Square
