Song Shiqiang on the Shanghai Experience

Mr. Song Shiqiang at 2026 electronica Shanghai, booth W5.317

Mr. Song Shiqiang first connected with electronica Shanghai in 2024. On July 8-10, 2024, he led the Kinghelm and Slkor teams to observe the show. Song noted that the entire electronics industry is seeking breakthroughs, and downstream companies are paying more attention to the stability and efficiency of semiconductor supply chains. For technology-original manufacturers and own-brand suppliers like Kinghelm and Slkor, technological and product innovation, service upgrades, and supply chain optimization must all adapt to the higher demands of the AI‑driven, fully interconnected era. It was the fruitful observations in 2024 that led to Kinghelm and Slkor’s annual commitment to electronica Shanghai. Kinghelm adheres to the corporate culture of “Integrity, Diligence, Resilience, Detail” and the business ethics of “Fairness, Openness, Cooperation, Win-Win,” along with the Eastern wisdom of “Inner Sage, Outer King” advocated by Mr. Song. With nearly 20 years of deep roots in RF technology and connectors, Kinghelm pursues product excellence, cooperates with customers and industry partners, and is committed to building a positive, healthy industrial ecosystem that promotes social harmony – a supportive external environment that has truly helped Kinghelm thrive.

Interview 1: Mr. Song Shiqiang with Li Jian of eefocus

“Concerning Components, Asking the Four Dimensions” Interview

Mr. Song Shiqiang being interviewed by Li Jian of eefocus for “Concerning Components, Asking the Four Dimensions”

“Artificial intelligence + high-speed mobile connectivity” will be the dominant social landscape of the future. Kinghelm started with the R&D, production, and sales of “Kinghelm” brand Beidou BDS/GPS antennas, and has long been deeply engaged in RF microwave technology, actively embracing the new era of universal interconnection. Facing both opportunities and challenges as domestic substitution enters its “deep waters,” Kinghelm has still achieved over 80% annual growth for four consecutive years (2022–2025), despite the global economic slowdown. The “Kinghelm” and “Slkor” brands are shining brightly on the international stage.

In response, Supplyframe’s Four Dimensions and eefocus’ Li Jian asked Kinghelm and Slkor founder and GM Mr. Song Shiqiang about “How can companies achieve counter‑trend growth and break through in the AI era?” Mr. Song stated that the integration of strategy, tactics, and execution is key to breaking the deadlock. Taking Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) and Slkor as examples, from their inception, both companies have benchmarked themselves against world‑class enterprises in terms of strategic decision‑making, resource allocation, internal management, brand value, innovation capability, and internationalization, firmly pursuing a global path. In terms of tactics, Kinghelm and Slkor adopt an approach that 90% of their peers cannot understand – a digital marketing path for domestic original brands, centered on their official websites and supplemented by matrixed layouts across other media and platforms. This approach runs counter to the conventional semiconductor industry logic (which emphasizes capital, technology, and sales network accumulation) and was inevitably an untrodden path. In execution, the standardized and process‑driven management at Kinghelm and Slkor ensures efficiency, high per‑capita productivity, and remarkable results, which have been widely imitated by peers. Specifically, Kinghelm and Slkor apply ecological, matrix, and hierarchical methodologies, dividing business into different segments and departments, and through organic collaboration and management, achieve highly efficient operations and growth.

Interview 2: Mr. Song Shiqiang Invited to Join Zhixin Suge’s”GESA Chip Shines East” Electronics Industry Live Stream!

Mr. Song Shiqiang invited to join Zhixin Suge’s “GESA Chip Shines East” electronics industry live stream!

The 2025 electronica Shanghai marked the debut of Zhixin Suge’s “GESA Chip Shines East” live program. Since then, Zhixin Suge has taken viewers through the exhibition via live camera, sharing insights from exhibitors and industry partners, working together to build big business and strengthen enterprises. Mr. Song Shiqiang has been a guest on Zhixin Suge’s live stream for two consecutive years (2025–2026) at electronica Shanghai, discussing the industry’s “chip” future with global friends.

Mr. Song noted that industry opportunities always exist – the key is having the ability to seize them. In earlier years, Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.com.cn) and Slkor capitalized on the “domestic substitution” trend in electronic components to grow stronger. Today, 5G communications, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, industrial internet, digital economy, and new energy technologies are flourishing and have become major drivers of future economic growth, integral to the emerging “new quality productive forces.” The prosperity of these technologies and industries is precisely where Kinghelm’s opportunities lie. Moreover, Kinghelm’s (www.kinghelm.net) main products are RF microwave antennas, signal connectors, and their assemblies, covering three communication technologies: RF microwave, high‑speed data transmission, and optical communications. These emerging fields demand higher performance in wireless communication, data transmission, and industrial automation, and Kinghelm is actively working to meet these needs and drive industry progress. Encouragingly, [Kinghelm’s future product roadmap] has already released productive capacity. This year (2026), Kinghelm will establish an initial product portfolio, with gradually enriched antenna product lines and optical communication accessories (optical devices) entering production – marking Kinghelm’s official entry into the optical communications sector, a field with high technical barriers where brand building is a continuous process. We will first gauge market demand and launch mainstream optical communication accessories (optical devices), gradually moving from a latecomer to a leading player.

Mr. Song mentioned that during the exhibition, many customers and partners from around the world visited the Kinghelm/Slkor booth. Thanks to everyone’s strong support, the “Kinghelm” and “Slkor” brands continue to shine on both domestic and international stages.

Exhibition Insights – Peng Huisheng’s Reflections

Peng Huisheng, Deputy Director of Kinghelm’s Sales Department II, at the exhibition

The 2026 electronica Shanghai has come to a successful close. Over the three‑day exhibition, Peng Huisheng was fully engaged in customer reception, technical liaison, market research, and competitor analysis, gaining substantial overall benefits.

Peng Huisheng and colleagues receiving customers

The visitor flow was of high quality, predominantly from automotive electronics, IoT, industrial control terminals, solution providers, and overseas procurement. We received hundreds of visitors on site and successfully screened dozens of high‑potential leads, building a solid resource pool for future revenue growth. At the same time, many existing customers visited, further reinforcing their trust in our technology‑oriented, product‑based original brand “Kinghelm.”

Deputy Director Peng Huisheng carefully listening to customer requirements

Through this exhibition, I gained a clear grasp of the latest industry trends: the market is shifting toward automotive‑grade, high‑frequency, miniaturized, and high‑stability solutions, while low‑end commodity products face severe commoditization. Manufacturers offering complete RF connectivity solutions are more competitive, confirming our Kinghelm FAKRA, high‑frequency connectors, antenna cable assemblies, and other core product advantages.

This exhibition also revealed our shortcomings in pre‑show invitation, scenario‑based product display, documentation standardization, and promotional material. “Knowing our inadequacies” is a motto I greatly admire. The *Book of Rites* says, “Know your shortcomings, and then you can reflect on yourself.” Laozi’s *Tao Te Ching* states, “To know that you do not know is the highest.” Thus, shortcomings can become strengths – they will be our breakthrough points for improving customer satisfaction and driving growth.

I will promptly follow up with customer tiering, material delivery, sample coordination, and continuous engagement to convert exhibition leads. Meanwhile, I will apply the experience gained to optimize next year’s exhibition preparation, display systems, and lead generation models, continuously enhancing brand exposure and return on exhibition investment.

Wisdom Shines – Shanghai Culture

Kinghelm – Connecting the World

The 2026 electronica Shanghai, through technological displays and intellectual exchanges, outlined the development path for the electronics industry over the next 3‑5 years, becoming an important platform connecting global innovation resources. “Kinghelm – Connecting the World.” Under the leadership of General Manager Mr. Song Shiqiang, the Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) exhibition team members each fulfilled their duties while collaborating closely, contributing their wisdom and efforts to successfully achieve the 2026 exhibition goals and accumulate practical experience for 2027. Song Yuanming, Director of Kinghelm’s International Department, noted that this year’s show covered 10 halls, with connector industry exhibitors concentrated across 5 halls – a multiple increase compared to the previous maximum of 2 halls – signaling the vibrant vitality and potential of Kinghelm’s connector and interconnection sector.

During breaks, Mr. Song Shiqiang also led the team to enjoy authentic Shanghai cuisine, taste “Shikumen” rice wine, stroll through food streets to experience the local vibe, and visit the Bund and surrounding landmarks – all to deeply appreciate the diverse charm of Shanghai’s cosmopolitan culture.

The enchanting night view of the Huangpu River along the Bund

The Bund area in Huangpu District, known as the “Street of International Architecture”

At the Bund, with its array of diverse Western architectural styles from the former concession era, Mr. Song joked about being a “seasoned construction contractor by background,” emphasizing that his love for old architecture is “in his bones.” Revisiting the place brought deep emotions: “From real estate to chip business, from the Shanghai Bund to Huaqiangbei, all have left vivid memories for me! The Hatong Building (later the Old Jiefang Building) that I renovated back then is now Huawei’s global flagship store – the old building is now filled with technological wonder. Every time I visit, I have new reflections, and it elevates my soul!”

Mr. Song said: “Architecture is the crystallization of religion, thought, art, aesthetics, and scientific achievement; it is the tangible symbol of predecessors’ labor and wisdom, a new work co‑created by man and the Creator.” The Shanghai Bund’s eclectic architecture, open and diverse in styles, embodies a harmonious coexistence of inclusion and contrast – a collision of tradition and modernity, a fusion of East and West – carrying significant heritage and continuity.
