New venture has already closed $260,000 in homeowner deals ahead of its formal launch, with a nationwide expansion planned<\/div>\n

BRICKELL, FL – August 4, 2026 – <\/strong>Haven Equity today announced its official launch, a new service designed to help homeowners in preforeclosure stay in — or exit — their homes on their own terms, without losing the equity they’ve built. The company has already closed two deals totaling $260,000 in the months leading up to launch.<\/p>\n

Founded by Southwest Florida entrepreneur Sarah Hardy, Haven Equity is part of the Doucette Energy Development (DED) portfolio of companies, joining Star Roof & Solar and Arctic Energy Solutions.<\/p>\n

“Most homeowners in preforeclosure think their only options are foreclosure or a lowball cash offer that erases everything they’ve built,” said Doucette, founder of Haven Equity. “We built Haven Equity to give people a third option — one that helps them get current, stay in their home when possible, and walk away with cash in hand instead of walking away with nothing.”<\/p>\n

How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haven Equity works with homeowners to fund a renovation to their property along with a cash payment to help them stay afloat — both drawn from the homeowner’s existing equity rather than paid out of pocket. Haven Equity does not take ownership of the property or hold title at any point in the process. The company’s fee is collected only after all work is complete.<\/p>\n

The company is building a nationwide lead network and currently reaches more than 5,100 preforeclosure and equity-holder households each week through direct outreach.<\/p>\n
