WEST POINT, VA – JULY 13, 2026 – <\/strong>Eltham Auto Clinic, the family-owned independent auto repair shop serving West Point and New Kent County for more than 30 years, recently completed a keyless entry module installation and programming on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, demonstrating advanced vehicle security capabilities that few independent shops in the region can offer.<\/p>\n

The repair required manufacturer-level software access, NASTF (National Automotive Service Task Force) Vehicle Security Professional credentials, and precision programming that goes well beyond a standard parts replacement. On late-model vehicles like the Silverado, replacing a keyless entry module is only part of the job. The new unit must be authenticated and configured through secure manufacturer data channels before the vehicle will recognize it. Without the proper authorization and software, the repair cannot be completed.<\/p>\n

For most West Point and New Kent County drivers, that level of work has meant a trip to the dealership. Eltham Auto Clinic is working to change that. The shop has invested in the training, credentials, and equipment necessary to handle complex vehicle security programming locally, giving drivers a trusted independent alternative for repairs that have traditionally required a dealership visit.<\/p>\n

That investment is consistent with how the shop has operated since Kenny Moskalski founded it in October 1994.
