Creekside Injury Law Welcomes Litigation Attorney Jenny Hoppie, Adding Trial Power Across All Utah Personal Injury Practice Areas
The statewide Utah personal injury law firm, Creekside Injury Law, has hired a fierce civil litigation advocate who will handle cases ranging from car accidents and semi-truck collisions to medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death across its four Utah offices.

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah – July 6, 2026 – Creekside Injury Law, a Utah personal injury law firm serving clients statewide, today announced that attorney Jenny Hoppie has joined its legal team. Hoppie comes aboard as a dedicated personal injury litigation attorney and is prepared to litigate cases across every one of the firm’s practice areas, giving injured Utahns added courtroom power against insurance companies that routinely try to undervalue their claims.

Hoppie brings a depth of litigation experience that few attorneys can match. Before she was admitted to the bar, she spent more than 25 years working as a civil litigation paralegal, sitting across the table from clients during some of the hardest moments of their lives and learning firsthand how cases actually move through Utah’s court system. She earned her undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University in 2018 while working full-time and raising her family, then graduated from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2022, finishing her degree with determination through both a global pandemic and a profound personal loss.

That experience shapes how she works. She is not easily rattled, and she does not treat people like case numbers. She understands that the civil justice system can feel overwhelming to the people who need it most, and she takes seriously the responsibility of guiding them through it.

In her new role, Hoppie will represent injured clients in litigation across all of Creekside Injury Law’s practice areas, including:

  • Car Accidents

  • Semi-Truck Accidents

  • Rideshare Accidents

  • Motorcycle Accidents

  • Bicycle Accidents

  • Premises Liability

  • Pedestrian Accidents

  • Medical Malpractice

  • Dog Bites

  • Wrongful Death

  • Nursing Home Abuse

Her arrival reinforces the firm’s commitment to being trial-ready in every case. Insurance companies consistently pay more when they know a firm is fully prepared to file a lawsuit, take depositions, and try a case before a jury. Hoppie strengthens that capability across the board.

“Jenny is exactly the kind of advocate our clients deserve,” said Matt Schmoldt, founder and owner of Creekside Injury Law. “She has spent her entire career in the trenches of civil litigation; she truly understands what injured people are going through, and she has the grit to take a case all the way. Adding an attorney of her caliber means we can fight even harder for full and fair compensation in every practice area we handle.”

Outside the office, Hoppie volunteers with legal clinics and supports programs focused on education and opportunity for women and families. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, she spends her free time paddleboarding, hiking, and snowshoeing across Utah.

Creekside Injury Law represents injured clients throughout Utah from four office locations in Logan, Roy, Tooele, and Pleasant Grove. The firm offers free, no-obligation consultations and charges no attorney fees unless it wins the client’s case.
