London, United Kingdom – July 2, 2026 – The UK–Gabon Trade & Investment Summit 2026, taking place on 6–7 October 2026 in London, will convene a curated delegation of senior government representatives, international investors, development finance institutions, business leaders, entrepreneurs and policymakers to strengthen economic cooperation between the United Kingdom and the Gabonese Republic.

Organised by the Gabon Business Alliance Network UK (GBAN-UK), a division of the British African Business Alliance, the summit has been carefully curated as a high-level platform where governments, investors and businesses can transform dialogue into investment, strategic partnerships and commercially viable projects. Rather than offering a traditional conference experience, the summit delivers a curated investment platform where policy dialogue, commercial opportunity and strategic partnerships converge to generate measurable economic outcomes.

The organisers are pleased to announce that His Excellency Raymond Ndong Sima, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Société Agro-Pastorale du Gabon (AGROPAG) and former Prime Minister of the Gabonese Republic, has confirmed his participation in the summit.

The initiative has also received support in principle from Gabon’s Ministry of Economy. In official correspondence, the Ministry recognised the summit as an opportunity to mobilise British institutional investors around Gabon’s strategic development projects in alignment with the National Growth and Development Plan (PNCD).

A Defining Moment for UK–Gabon Economic Relations

As global supply chains evolve and investors seek resilient, sustainable and high-growth markets, Gabon is emerging as one of Africa’s most compelling investment destinations. The summit provides a timely platform to connect British expertise with Gabon’s development ambitions.

Beyond Investment Promotion: Building Two-Way Trade

The summit promotes two-way trade, joint ventures, technology transfer, skills development, local manufacturing, responsible investment and public-private partnerships.

A Curated Portfolio of Strategic Investment Opportunities

Delegates will access a curated portfolio of investment-ready, bankable projects spanning agriculture, mining, infrastructure, energy, water, housing, healthcare, education, tourism, digital infrastructure and manufacturing.

Why UK Businesses Should Attend

Participants will benefit from curated executive engagements, sector roundtables, B2B and B2G matchmaking, project presentations and networking designed to accelerate commercial partnerships.

Women and Youth at the Centre of Inclusive Growth

A curated leadership forum will highlight entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, skills and access to finance for women and young people.

From Dialogue to Delivery

Expected outcomes include investment announcements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), PPP discussions, financing negotiations, strategic partnerships, investor meetings and a pipeline of bankable projects.

A Shared Vision for Sustainable Partnership

“The UK–Gabon Trade & Investment Summit is more than a conference—it is a catalyst for long-term economic partnership. By bringing together UK expertise and Gabon’s ambition, we are creating a platform where dialogue leads to investment, innovation and measurable impact.” — Jasmine Mengue Bekale, Director, GBAN-UK and Summit Convenor.

Looking Ahead

The organisers intend for the summit to become the flagship annual platform advancing UK–Gabon trade, investment and strategic partnerships.
